5A - Round Tip:
A very interesting trend among young drummers is the
emergence of the round tip drumstick. The round tip has
traditionally been associated with orchestral drumsticks
and we find that the round tip is crossing over to
modern jazz, rock, hip-hop, and R&B genre. This is

B. 7A:
Classic Tip & Round Tip
...the perennial favourite among Jazz drummers and
younger drummers. It exhibits very quick and minute
rebounds along with a high degree of control. The 7A-CT
is a little more tail heavy, thus giving it a high
degree of sensitivity and control. It is also one of the
thinnest Carbosticks ever made, with a diameter of

BLACKWOOD 5B:
This is a classic rock & roll drumstick. The BLACKWOOD
5B is, by design, heavier on the front end and has a
diameter of 15.1mm. The BLACKWOOD 5B is an "acquired
taste" for more advanced drummers because the 5B
produces larger and more frequent rebounds. |
